Wylie, Texas – November 17, 2016 – For anyone interested in attending the North Texas Equestrian Center Para-Dressage Clinic December 2,3, & 4, 2016, there is a reduced hotel rate at the Best Western Plus in Wylie, TX. The dates include December 1-6, 2016, at the rate of $90 per night. To receive this rate ask to speak with Natalie or Shelby and tell them you are coming in for the equestrian event sponsored by North Texas Equestrian Center. Are you a disabled veteran looking for an exciting adaptive sport?

Para-Dressage and Para-Driving are internationally-recognized, elite sports for individuals with permanent, measurable physical disabilities. Carlisle Academy, in partnership with the United States Equestrian Federation, was recently awarded an Adaptive Sports Grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs to support growth and participation of disabled veterans in para-equestrian sports. Full tuition support for veterans is available for this camp, as well as federal allowances to support ongoing training. Eligibility requirements apply.
Come learn more about these opportunities for disabled veterans and their coaches at Carlisle Academy.

Announcing the 2017 Para-Equestrian Dressage
FEI Grade Name Changes and Tests

October 28, 2016 – The FEI recently announced changes to the Para-Dressage Grade names in addition to new FEI Para-Equestrian Dressage Tests. The new Para-Dressage Grade names will not change a riders classification they are strictly name changes. Grade 1a is now Grade I; Grade 1b is now called Grade II; Grade II is Grade III; Grade III is Grade IV; Grade IV is Grade V; and Grade V is Grade VI.
