NTEC Richter Scale and Jonathan Wentz

NTEC Richter Scale and Para Young Rider Committee Member Jonathan Wentz

The United States Para-Equestrian Dressage Team made large strides in 2010 as the eighth discipline at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. In an effort to continue that growth and make further progress we feel a Para Young Rider Program is essential. The USPEA Para Young Rider committee is working to begin a Para Young Rider program.  This area will be used to give you updates on Para Young Rider developments and events.

If you are a Para-Equestrian, a potential Para-Equestrian, ages 18 – 25 and are interested in participating in a Para Young Rider Program please send the following information to:

The NAJYRC is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders, age 14-21. Young equestrians come from the United States, Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Islands to vie for team and individual FEI medals in the three Olympic equestrian disciplines of show jumping, dressage, eventing and the World Equestrian Games discipline of reining. The competition is run under rules of the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale), the international governing body for equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championship held annually on this continent.
