| The Board expressed appreciation to Tina Wentz of Oklahoma City for 17 years of leadership and dedication, including serving as interim president following the passing of USPEA founder Hope Hand. Since the organization’s founding in 2009, Wentz has played an instrumental role in advancing USPEA’s mission and supporting the growth of para dressage nationwide. “Being part of USPEA since its founding has been an exciting journey,” Wentz said. “I’m proud of how U.S. Para Dressage has grown and will continue to support the organization and its work.” |  |
| USPEA also welcomed Patricia “Patty” Mayer of Camarillo, California, to the Board. Mayer is a para dressage trainer through the CPEDI3* level and an accomplished dressage professional who has been a strong advocate for expanding para dressage opportunities on the West Coast. “We are thrilled to have Patty join the Board,” said USPEA President Eleanor Brimmer. “Her experience developing athletes and expanding competitive opportunities with a West Coast perspective will be invaluable as we continue supporting emerging para dressage athletes across the country.” “I am honored to serve on the USPEA Board,” Mayer said. “I look forward to promoting the organization’s work and encouraging greater participation in para dressage.”USPEA is led by an all-volunteer board and works in educational partnership with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) to support emerging athletes and promote awareness of para dressage in the United States. To further advance its mission, USPEA is seeking at least one additional board member.
