In Memoriam LeRoy (Lee) J. Schenck, Jr.
Bridgewater, NJ – April 10, 2015- United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. High Performance Director of Para Equestrian, Laureen K. Johnson lost her husband LeRoy (Lee) J. Schenck, Jr., on April 8, 2015, to a long battle with cancer. Johnson is a large part of the U.S. Para-Equestrian community in addition to being the Director of Vaulting and Assistant to Directors of Driving. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the funeral home followed by burial at New Cemetery in Somerville.

LeRoy (Lee) J. Schenck, Jr., beloved son of LeRoy (Roy) J. Schenck Sr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at home after his long, heroic battle with cancer.
A lifetime resident of Bridgewater, Lee Graduated Bridgewater Raritan East in 1972 and began his 30 year career as a truck driver with Egan Machinery, finishing his career with the Parksite Group in North Brunswick in 2014. Lee was an avid fan and participant of NHRA Drag Racing. He was also a Jets and Philly fan and a member of the Moose Lodge. His most treasured moments were spending time with family and friends at his beach condo in North Wildwood.
Lee is predeceased by his loving mother, Barbara A. Schenck, 2005 and his son, Craig R. Schenck, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Laureen K. Johnson, his children Jason L. Schenck of England, Joseph W. Schenck and his wife, Pamela of Phillipsburg, Alicia L. Schenck and partner Travis Street of Bridgewater, Sean H. Schenck of Manville, step children Jessica L. Zanzonico of Bridgewater, Anthony J. Zanzonico and fiancée Nina of Lebanon, sister Barbara A. Pokol and husband Frank, Bridgewater, brother Michael J. Schenck and wife Jamie of Shrewsbury, brother-in-law Glenn S. Johnson and wife Caren and children, Brianna and Ayden of Independence, father and mother-in-law, Allan and Carlene Johnson of Hackettstown, granddaughter, Reina S. Street, niece Stacy Florio and husband Patrick and children, Ashling and Piper of Manahawkin and many dear friends he considered his family.
