About Scott David:
Scott David was born in Diamond, Ohio in 1972 and currently resides in Lake Placid, New York. Scott is a self taught artist and predominantly works in the medium of charcoal but has recently added works in oil pastel to his portfolio.
Scott taught himself to draw with charcoal in his late teens but gave up his art for nearly two decades to pursue a career as a professional pilot; before finding his life’s passion. That passion turned out to be the art of classical dressage. Scott’s love for horses and his commitment to riding provided him the catalyst and subject matter to pursue another great passion of his, Art. Although choosing to practice classical dressage, Scott has a profound interest in the hunter and jumper disciplines and frequently portrays them in his works. Scott has also been actively expanding his portfolio to include many other riding disciplines, as well as the canine and human form.
Scott specializes in fine art commissions and examples of his work can be seen in several locations throughout the Eastern United States.
