2014 Adequan Global Dressage Festival CPEDI3* held March 14-16, 2014, in Wellington, FL, and the 2014 Golden State Dressage Classic CPEDI3* held April 4-6, 2014, in Rancho Murieta, CA. Both of these international FEI events were the final qualifying shows held in the United States for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™. Because of these two amazing events many U.S. para-dressage athletes have qualified for the Selection Trials for the World Equestrian Games and the 2014 USEF Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championship. On behalf of all para-dressage athletes, their families, and supporters, the USPEA and USEF are grateful to Lloyd Landkamer who managed the Adequan Global Dressage Festival CPEDI3*, Thomas Baur, Show Organizer of the Wellington, FL, horse show, and Connie Davenport, manager of the Golden State Dressage Classic CPEDI3*.

Without show managers like Lloyd Landkamer, Thomas Baur, or Connie Davenport the international high-performance sport of para-equestrian dressage would not be at the level it is today. In 2014, the U.S. riders
received multiple compliments on the elite para-dressage horses, skillful athletes, and capable new riders. These shows were the opportunity the U.S. needed to showcase their seasoned riders and horses in front of FEI International dressage judges, sponsors, and competition. Both shows were well scheduled, accommodating to the riders and their families, and were five-start FEI events all around.

The USPEA and USEF would also like to thank the numerous volunteers and show staff that made each of these events possible. The 2014 calendar year has been a spectacular year for U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage and we look forward to the upcoming USEF Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championship and Selection Trials for the World Equestrian Games both held June 2-5, 2014, at the USET Foundation Headquarters in Gladstone, NJ. Connie Davenport will manage this exciting national championship and selection trial. With the solid support from the 2014 show season, the USPEA and USEF look forward to the approaching Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ para-equestrian dressage competition and future CPEDI3* events before the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
