USPEA Acknowledges Adequan® for their Support of the Para-Dressage Discipline at the
2018 FEI World Equestrian Games
Tryon, NC – September 10, 2018- The United States Para-Equestrian Association (USPEA) would like to thank Adequan® for their support of the Para-Dressage discipline at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games. The Games will be hosted at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Tryon, NC, Sept. 11-23.
USPEA President and Paralympian Hope Hand commented, “Adequan® has always been a strong supporter of our sport and we are thankful to Adequan® and Allyn Mann, director of strategic partnerships for Luitpold Animal Health, for being a part of this spectacular event.”
This will be the third Games since para-dressage was introduced at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky. Para-Dressage is scheduled from Sept.18-22, with individual competition on Tuesday, Sept.18, and Wednesday, Sept.19. Team competition will be held on Thursday, Sept.20, and Friday, Sept. 21, with the individual freestyle on Saturday, Sept.22. Athletes from 23 countries have been named to the FEI Nominated Entries List for Adequan® Para-Dressage, will compete at the Tryon Stadium. The U.S. Para-Dressage Team presented by Deloitte includes Rebecca Hart (Wellington, Fla.), Grade III, with El Corona Texel, Rowan O’Reilly’s nine-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding; Angela Peavy (Wellington, Fla.), Grade IV, with Royal Dark Chocolate, Rebecca Reno’s 10-year-old Oldenburg mare; Kate Shoemaker (Peoria, Ariz.), Grade IV, with Solitaer 40, the 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion she owns with Craig and Deena Shoemaker; and Roxanne Trunnell (Rowlett, Texas), Grade I, and Kate Shoemaker’s Dolton, a six-year-old Hanoverian gelding.
